Art at the Treehouse with the English National Ballet
Arts for Dementia
DanceEnglish National Ballet are delighted to be collaborating with Arts for Dementia to deliver a 10-week series of Dance for Dementia classes taking place at the Treehouse, Southwark.
Dance for Dementia, a high-quality artistic and cultural prgramme, invites people living with Dementia and their companions to share in a joyful, creative experience.
Take part in welcoming and open dance classes, designed to engage the body and mind. Dancing encourages freedom and expression, whilst positively increasing strength, mobility and wellbeing. Classes are inspired by ballet and contemporary dance techniques and focused on English Natinal Ballet’s rich repertoire. All classes are inclusive, with seated and standing exercises tailored for all abilities.
Led by an experiecned team of Associate Artists, classes are accompanied to live music. Following the dance session, there is an opportunity to have social time with refreshements provided.

Dance for Dementia Participant
No prior experience of dance is requied and all ages and experience levels are welcome.
