Moving Memory Dance Theatre Company

1Moving Memory Dance Theatre is an innovative, collaborative & inclusive physical performance company which has been performing in town centres, public spaces, festivals and theatres for over 12 years. Led and delivered by older women, our key objective is to improve quality of life and equality for older people and other marginalised communities. Based in East Kent we produce performances, workshops and training, offer guidance to others and contribute to research so that people across the country perceive ageing differently. We are recognised nationally as an organisation working to address the pernicious and ingrained ageism in individuals and across society which the UN Report on Ageism, March 2021, says “leads to poorer health, social isolation, earlier deaths and cost(s) economies billions”.
