Salisbury in Focus with ArtCare

Join ArtCare and Salisbury photographer Simon Ward for a series of sessions exploring digital photography techniques using cameras and mobile phones.

This free 8-week course for adults 20+ is designed to encourage you to try out activities looking at colour, composition, lighting and framing printed works; as well as exploring portraiture, reportage, landscape, and macro photography.

Our activities will take place in both indoor studio settings and outdoors walking around Salisbury landscapes, architecture, and events in the city.

You’ll have time to experiment and become confident taking digital images, leading up to a display of work at the end of the course.

You don’t have to have any previous experience or even think of yourself as particularly arty or creative to participate!

Creative sessions will take place, every Tuesday, 9 – 23 May, 6 June – 4 July, 10:30-1pm.

Well City is a Salisbury based partnership project providing creative opportunities to support mental health and well-being through arts and heritage.
