Social Prescribing Link Workers, other health professionals and the general public can use the site to search for arts in health programmes by region, medical condition and by art form (e.g. music, drama, visual arts, craft). This will enable them to confidently identify and refer people to high quality arts programmes in their area that have health benefits.

Arts in health organisations can submit free listings to raise awareness of their programme(s).

A Community of Practice will be set up in Phase Two of the site’s development to support the development of arts and health programmes featured on the platform. It will focus on sharing best practice; enabling programmes to enhance their artistic content, provide stronger evidence, achieve greater impact and become more widely available. These are key aspects of the Aesop Institute which this is part of.
