Labyrinth Workshop

An introduction to the history, symbol and practice of walking the labyrinth. This is a creative mindfulness workshop. Exploring guided mindfulness meditation without the constraints of always sitting still. The labyrinth is a unicursal path and not a maze, there is one way in and the same way out! You will have the opportunity to map out a labyrinth on paper and then collectively construct a walking labyrinth within the workshop. The Labyrinth is a tool that has many applications in various settings. Walking the labyrinth reduces stress, quiets the mind and opens the heart. Read more on our blog here. This session includes mindful movement, mindful walking and mindful meditation. Please be prepared to have a little fun! The classes are led by Veriditas Labyrinth facilitator Rachele Smith BSc RYT QMT.
